Yoga Styles
To find out which style best suits you, try attending a few various classes. Some styles are better for a getting a good work-out, whereas some are better for being restorative or gentle. It's important to take into account your physical condition and goals of your yoga practice when deciding which style to pursue. The classes do not include Chanting or philosophy unless specifically stated in the description.

Therapeuic Yoga
This style of yoga is great for pain/stress relief, athletic performance and anyone looking for a well-rounded practice. Therapeutic Yoga combines Restorative Yoga (stretching using the support of props), strengthening the muscles in the body that can create pain due to weakness, breathing techniques, and other therapeutic modalities. Therapeutic Yoga is a core practice which helps you experience the ease which underlies other yoga practices. Open to all levels.

Beginners
For students new to yoga or those looking for a gentle class to reduce tension. Learn breath and body awareness, optimal posture and body mechanics. Focused on proper alignment, but at the same time giving you a well rounded class to benefit the whole body. This class promotes balance, flexibility, and stress release.

Beginners 2
For beginners looking for a little more of a challenge and movement. You will still be working with beginners poses, but with less instruction so there is more time for flow.

Intro to Power Yoga
This is a flowing class that works on intermediate postures at a slower pace than in our normal power yoga.

Raja Yoga
Similar to Hatha Yoga, but add meditation, breathing practices and some universal chants. Breath work has many benefits including: detoxifying, energizing or relaxing, sinus relief, and more. There are tons of research on the benefits of meditation: helping ease stress, learning to focus, lowering blood pressure and more. This form of yoga is very therapeutic as it addresses every aspect of you, not just your body.

Power (Vinyasa)
A faster paced class with more challenging postures, this class is well-suited for strong and healthy students with 3 months of recent Yoga experience, as well as the most experienced students. At this level we increase our ability to be present in our practice while challenging ourselves.
You will learn various forms of inversions, backbends, and arm balancing postures.

Fitness Yoga
Combines Yoga and Pilates with Resistance bands, weights and Yoga Balls. Using the bands increases the strength and flexibility benefits of yoga. This will add challenge and intensity to your practice without having to move faster or do more advanced poses therefor making it perfect for all levels.

Free Flow
Our Free Flow class involves movement from various traditions including Dance, Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi which can flow from energetic, expressive to therapeutic, relaxing movements and at times uses the voice to release tension. This class is great for those wishing to break free from their habitual patterns and explore freedom of movement. You will leave feeling revitalized, joyful and more open to life.

Going Deeper in your Stretches
Working with your breath and physical limits, in this session the instructors hands guide you deeper into the poses and stretches. Incorporates massage techniques to release tension in the muscles, which can inhibit full freedom of movement.

Perfecting the Postures
This private session is great if you are having trouble mastering certain postures or if you would like one-on-one guidance in the poses. We will record you moving into, staying in and moving out of the yoga postures. You will take this recording home, so you can see your poses from all angles, after all knowing is half the battle. After 10-20 minutes of recording your poses, we will work on the postures individually, giving you tools to help you perfect the posture for your body.

•Quote from a Student•

I have come to fully enjoy yoga. The things I enjoy about yoga: the non- competitiveness and the discipline it teaches you about yourself. I was nervous the first time, but soon came to realize everybody stays within their mats. Since I have started practicing yoga, I have seen multiple benefits. I'm taking better care of myself. I'm sleeping better, feel less stressed out, and eating better. I just feel better, overall. My wife says I'm in a good mood much of the time! - Jim Ferrel
